Birthdays have always meant more to me than cake, candles, and cute Instagram captions.
They’re invitations. Portals, even. Moments to pause and ask the question that matters most:
Is the life I’m living truly aligned with who I am?
Tomorrow, I turn another year older (Lord help me), and for the first time, I can say with a full-body, soul-deep yes that the answer is clear.
And not because life is perfectly tied in a bow.
Not because I have it all figured out (spoiler: I don’t).
But because I’m no longer chasing someone else’s version of success.
I’m building a life and career that’s actually designed for me.
Human Design Changed Everything
A few years ago, I discovered something that shifted how I make decisions forever: Human Design.
It’s a self-discovery system that combines astrology, the I Ching, chakras, and quantum physics. Before you roll your eyes or label it “woo,” hear me out. It’s accurate.
Human Design gave me language for what I’d always felt deep down.
I’m not meant to follow traditional rules.
I’m meant to follow my design.
Your Dream Life Isn’t Found. It’s Designed.
For so long, I tried to fit into the boxes that were handed to me:
A “safe” job
The perfect resume
The corporate ladder I was supposed to climb
And honestly? It worked… for a while. Until it didn’t.
This birthday, I’m not chasing anything.
I’m not performing.
I’m not proving.
I’m building.
Slowly. Intentionally. Strategically.
In a way that honors who I actually am.
And that is the difference.

I was literally born to lead with heart, build with strategy, and help others rise.
Knowing this gave me permission to stop trying to be like everyone else.
